Volunteers wanted for SA Tricentennial community service day

RUNNING THROUGHOUT SAN ANTONIO’S
REMARKABLE HISTORY. THAT’S A QUOTE FROM THE
PRESIDENT OF THE TRICENTENNIAL
COMMISSION, DR. CYNTHIA MATSON. AND THAT’S THE MESSAGE THE
COMMISSION HAS FOR THE FIRST
COMMUNITY SERVICE DAY TOMORROW
IN HONOR OF THE CITY’S 300th
BIRTHDAY. THE SERVICE DAY IS ALL PART OF A
CITY WIDE INFRASTRUCTURE
IMPROVEMENT EVENT. VOLUNTEERS FROM ALL OVER THE
CITY WILL LEND A HELPING HAND TO
CLEAN UP PARKS, GET RID OF
GRAFFITI, AND EVEN HELP CLEAN
THE ALAMODOME IN TIME FOR THE
UPCOMING NCAA FINAL FOUR.>>WE WANTED TO BE ABLE TO SHOW
THE PEOPLE WHO ARE COMING FROM
ALL OVER THE WORLD TO SEE THESE
GAMES, TO SHOW THEM HOW MUCH WE
LOVE THE ALAMODOME. WE’RE JUST COMING OUT READY TO
WORK. WHETHER IT’S LANDSCAPING OR
PAINTING, POWER WASHING,
WHATEVER THEY WANT US TO DO, WE
