TRADITIONS.. A HIGH SCHOOL CELEBRATION UNLIKE ANY OTHER FOR ROANOKE CATHOLIC STUDENTS– AND IT ISN’T JUST FOR FOOTBALL. MAJOR WINS FOR STUDENTS AT THE SCHOOL ARE CELEBRATED BY A BELL RINGING FOR THE ENTIRE ROANOKE CATHOLIC COMMUNITY. FROM THE CROSS COUNTRY TEAM .. TO BIG VOLLEYBALL WINS .. THE TEAMS ARE CELEBRATED WITH A GIANT GATHERING OF FANS … AND THE CHANCE TO RING THE ON- CAMPUS BELL. BRYANT GUILFOYLE, JUNIOR – AFTER WE GET A WIN WE’RE ALREADY PRETTY EXCITED, SINGING AND YELLING ON THE BUS. GETTING TO COME BACK AND BE WELCOMED BY THE FANS, RING THE BELL AND WAKE EVERYONE UP. IT’S JUST REALLY EXCITING. ALEX VAUGHT, JUNIOR – EVERY SINGLE FAN COMES BACK AFTER THE GAME, WE ALL STAND OUTSIDE IN THE PARKING LOT. WE DO OUR CHANT AND GET IN THERE AND RING THE BELL. IT’S A CELEBRATION THE FOOTBALL TEAM IS HOPING TO TAKE PART IN TOMORROW — AS THEY PREPARE TO TAKE ON IN- TOWN RIVAL NORTH CROSS .. AT TWO P-M.
