3 Ways God Answers Prayers (Catholic Speaker Ken Yasinski)

By | September 4, 2019

– Hi, guys, this is Ken Yasinski
from Catholic Speaker .com. Today, let’s talk about
does God hear my prayers, and does God answer my prayers? (soft instrumental music) So does God answer prayers? I think all of us are
comforted with this idea that when we’re in a struggle and we have a need in
our life or we go to God with a prayer of petition
and we throw it up to Him, that He hears and He answers that prayer. But oftentimes when we pray
in those moments of crisis, we have this little doubt
that comes up into our mind. Did God really hear that? And will He answer that prayer? Well, let’s look to
scripture to find our answer. Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; “seek and you will find; “knock and the door will be opened to you. “For everyone who asks receives,
the one who seeks finds, “and to the one who knocks,
the door will be opened.” Now here we have Jesus
saying in one breath, ask, ask, ask, ask, ask, ask. In six different ways Jesus said to ask. Now why would he do that? Well, why not just once? Well, perhaps because it’s
really important (laughs) or perhaps we kinda don’t
get it and we’ll doubt or perhaps there’s a
combination of the two. You know, Jesus wants us to ask. Consider this, why would
Jesus tell us to knock (knocking) unless somebody was home? (laughs) So we know that God hears our prayers. Now, does God answer our prayer? Well, the scripture says
everyone who asks will receive. So if you are part of everyone and you ask with a prayer of
petition, you will receive. But how does God answer our prayers? See, I think God always answers prayers but He answers them in
three different ways. He says yes, wait, or
I’ve got a better idea, but He never says no. So when does God say yes? Well, when our prayer of
petition is corresponding to His will, well then God will say yes. When does God say wait? When our prayer of petition
corresponds to His will but maybe not according to
the timing that we hope, so then God says wait. And when does God say
I’ve got a better idea? When our prayer of petition isn’t in communion with God’s will, but then He says wait, I got
something better for you. And how do we know that? Because Jesus said everyone
who asks will receive. So even if our prayer of petition isn’t in perfect communion with God’s will, we are still going to receive something. He’s not gonna leave us high and dry. He’s going to come and meet our needs in the way that is best for us. So never ever withhold
the prayer of petition thinking God won’t hear
me or God won’t answer me. God always hears and He always answers with a yes, with a wait,
or I got a better idea. My friends, my name is Ken Yasinski from Catholic Speaker .com. Thanks for watching.

I also love and believe Mark 11:24.."so I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours"….God never lies…He is love and truth and life…if only we but believe…I believe and trust and am blessed…I want this for all

What about the majority of catholics who think they are praying to Mary? You see, Mary is not God. She is incapable of hearing the prayers of millions of people. How would she know you are praying to her? What about the language barrier?

But isn't it said that God will sometimes answer your prayer with NO, or NOT YET? You can't tell me that every time you have ever prayed that you got what you were asking for…. We both know that
